Cost reduction and less foodwaste in our restaurant

What do you like best?

Market man has a great dashboard that gives you information about key data, such as which supplier you spend most, food costs in categories and much more. We are able to track our food stocks in a better manner and with the forecast we were able to reduce food waste. You can also insert the recipies to see with which you make the most profit.

What do you dislike?

I wish the COGS report would contain more information, also a more detailed breakdown was good. Otherwise it is a good programme which has improved our processes a lot.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Before we introduced Marketman to our business, we used the trial version to get an idea of the programme. This is recommended so you know what you are getting into.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Filing of our products, entry of orders and sales. By entering recipes and estimated consumption, we can better plan orders and minimise waste of perishable goods in particular. Our ordering processes have become more objective, which is also reflected in the average stock levels, which have now been reduced.
