What do you like best?
The front-end POS software, when paired with a touchscreen PC, is hard to beat. You can effortlessly skip through the steps of a transaction with a few touches of the screen, or use a mouse if you're a little "old-school". Our product file is not housed on-site with a server, but rather is remote, so there are no concerns with hardware crashing. A "backup" terminal is looped into the on-site system so if the Internet goes down, we will have a mirrored product file with up-to-date pricing.
What do you dislike?
The backend interface, while learnable, should be updated to a more user-friendly GUI.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Moneris Debit/Credit and the POS are integrated and therefore, one additional source of keypunch errors is eliminated. Customer accounts can be maintained through their accounts receiveable module. The software has the capability of doubling as a general ledger, although we do not use it for that purpose, many other pharmacies do and see efficiencies as a result.
