What do you like best?
Really good product: We tried out multiple Distributed Tracing solutions.
By conforming to the OpenTracing standards and providing excellent support to help us PoC it, they got us hooked.
That they maintained a continued commitment to customer satisfaction over the two years since.
Moreover, this impression has lasted through our interacted with different people in LightStep in various roles.
The good service provided includes excellent turnabout on feature requests, anticipating our needs well in advance and amazing transparency & communication about their future roadmap.
They provide amazing documentation & training material, including on-site & virtual training.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes some of their more ambitious web pages can get a bit slow, making it a balance between excellent functionality against my patience, but they've been steadily trying to find a good balance by providing lazy loaded components to speed up normal interaction.
