Today’s global Original Equipment Manufacturers have hundreds, sometimes thousands, of relationships with those that make, sell, service their products.
Unlike other LMSs, LatitudeLearning isn’t ideal for HR training but instead it is a perfect fit for Durable Good Manufacturer channel training. OEMs have a unique training challenge that no other industry faces: managing a training program that has so many independent entities is complicated. HR LMSs were designed for a single hierarchy of employees, but the reality for OEM training programs are more complicated than that. An HR LMS does not support OEM distribution and supplier networks. Simply put, HR LMSs are the wrong tool for the job.

What do you like best?
It is intuitive and easy to set up, assign users and the ease of use and access for self-training works well. The help desk is very helpful and quick to answer questions. The learning curve is small. Uploading is very easy to complete. The ability to do bulk loads, branding, and using the 'impersonate' feature is better than I expected.
What do you dislike?
I'm having some issues getting summary reports, but I have just begun using that feature. Some functions could be improved with "smarter" technology so that repeated effort can be avoided. However, there are often so many courses which are to your liking that it is time-consuming to look at all of them.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
This software helped me to organize my program into a structure that was appropriate for this platform. Latitude learning provides opportunities for educators from all backgrounds. So, it is very beneficial to me.
