Very situational but very useful
What do you like best?
knowem is something I rarely use, but when I have to it's always here to help. The best word to describe it would be "situational". Whenever I have to register a brand account on social media, I always run the selected username through knowem. knowem checks dozens of social platforms for that username availability and saves you a ton of time. Previously I had to registed a brand name on, say, twitter, to later discover that it was already taken on Quora and had to add number or something like that to keep branding more or less consistent. With knowem there's no such need as you immediately see if the username is available and, if not, adjust it accordingly to keep brand name consistency across every social media platform.
What do you dislike?
As I've mentioned, I rarely use knowem, but when I have to, it's next to perfect. There's little functionality in it, so very little places where it can go wrong. While you presumably can register new account right from knowem, I'm not a fan of this idea, so I prefer to register account through their native interface. knowem is simple and one-purpose so I can't say that I dislike anything about it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a must-make social media names check up before registration. Absolutely always use knowem before registering cross-platform accounts for a new brand.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Running checks on the brand name username availability on multiple social media platforms before loosing time and registering manually to only find that you can't have the same name everywhere.
