Advanced user of KeePassXKeepassx is everything you want your password manager to be; simple, elegant, and full of features. Keepassx is an extension of the favorite windows password manager, keepass, but with cross platform support. There is no reason anymore to use easily guessable passwords on unix/linux machines because keepassx can generate strong passwords to use and help protect your accounts.
The small price to pay for keepassx is the fact that its an offline password manager just like keepass. While you could argue the pros for it are that you don't have to worry about if the cloud that stores other password manager is hacked and they have access to your password manager. The drawback is that you have to continuously update the password manager on all devices that you use it manually. That can be a little difficult and cause issues if you forget to update a password because then you may not be able to login to that account.
Always have a backup of your most recent password database file. It can be the difference in not being able to login and actually being able to make use of the password manager.
We use keepassx to ensure that we're using complex passwords to protect our accounts. Using complex passwords decreases the likelihood that they'll be guessed in a brute force authentication attack. We also use it to make sure that all of our passwords conform to the password policy set by the organization.
