Looks Good at First but WARNING! Be ready to spend $$ in Labor/ Inefficiencies
What do you like best?
It was customizable for our unique medical notes.
What do you dislike?
So many things! Once we started using it (and we are 3 years in) there were continuous problems with compliance, script tracking, onboarding documents, annual renewals, visit counts, billing issues, and extensive fees, reporting, and glitches! It is so hard to train because so many different programs developed it that in some situations it autosaves, in others, it doesn't. It isn't intuitive to use and takes a very long time for therapists to get the hang of it. PRN therapists are so expensive to have on the program, and then take so much help to create a note, that we stopped using it for PRN therapists. I have to piece together a different billing software, different intake software, different apt reminders, and different faxing because the cost and inefficiencies of Insync's system are too great to list. It costs me an extra $3500 in LABOR costs since I implemented this system because I have an IT administrator that dedicates 10-15 hours a week helping therapists through bugs/ issues, and I have to manually track prescriptions and medicare compliance because this system is ineffective! I attempted to get out of the contract because while they tell you their system can do it all, it cant. It is so expensive and inefficient and still takes manual labor to do what a system should do. They had their attorney contact me to tell me that I will still need to pay for the entire contract (another 40K when I already paid over 45K) for a system that we are going to scrap! It isn't worth the money. Once you pay for it in full it will be one of those tools you put on a shelf and never use again because it isn't built for improved efficiency. We call it in-stink! I have 17 users and all of my staff feel that it is the hardest system, and most frustrating system to work with. Don't let the sales pitch get you. They can make a note look pretty but that's it!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It has actually cost us more time and money in labor. I have had to hire staff to help with compliance, tracking, and IT glitches. It has not solved the problems that we thought it would.
