Advanced user of InnoslateInnsolate has many good options to visualize your data. We can see in the database view or in the diagrams view (action diagrams, spider diagrams, and many others).
In action diagram view, innoslate provides easy drag and drop feature to add action boxes, Input/Outputs, OR loops, Parallel actions etc. This is very useful for developing process flow diagrams and populating the metadata alongwith to finally have a database enriched diagram.
You can add existing entities from other diagrams. You can comment on any entity and team can get notification about the comment.
Dashboard is very helpful. You can see the number and status of all entities. You can add shortcuts.
In documents view, you can see the requirements and statements in the document format.
One thing that I dislike is that you cannot duplicate a whole action diagram including all its decompositions. You have to duplicate all action boxes one-by-one and sometimes it screws up the diagram. Duplicating action boxes is anyways not easy because it screws up the diagram visually.
Innoslate is excellent model based systems engineering tool for drawing work process diagrams and requirements management. We have been using this tool for over 2 years for plotting work processes and requirements management.
