iModules use in higher education fundraising and site design
What do you like best?
I love that iModules has a wide range of features and integrates well with Ellucian's Advance. Also pretty good for web design. We use it for most of our internal giving site pages and it's very easy for design. It's also very easy to integrate with our CRM ellucian advance and can update records in the system when constituents make edits or updates.
What do you dislike?
The console and user interface can be a big clunky and slow. Overall pretty good though. It does everything, but isn't exceptional in any category. The user interface can also be a bit difficult to navigate. Overall the benefits outweigh the drawbacks but there it certainly room of improvement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those considering iModules it's definitely worth exploring it as an opportunity. Again, it does everything but isn't exceptional in any category. The ability to process payments, use convenient web design, and send mass emails with design flexibility are also wonderful features.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
iModules is primarily how we send mass emails to our constituency database. The flexibility is great. We also use it for web design for all of our forward facing giving pages. It's great that we can process payments and pledges through the system and then get digest emails with all of the details.
