What do you like best?

The design and layout of IOL is attractive and the fact that it is web-based makes it easy to open and use. It is easy to enter data and save it accordingly.

What do you dislike?

There are some functions missing that would make it much easier to work with. IOL is great to store data and process indidiviual bookings for single services. However, when it comes to processing complex group bookings with multiple components, it gets difficult to process them in IOL in simple ways. Also, for group hotel bookings I am really missing a function to insert special requests and client wishes to be shown on the hotel rooming list, so that this can be sent straight from the system.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is quite complex, so take your time getting familiar with it, but it can pay off.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use IOL for entering and processing our bookings, adding suppliers and services to them and invoicing clients. We use the data in IOL for our statistics and reports, accounting purposes and sending rooming lists to hotels. We use IOL for internal reporting and accounting purposes, as well as organizing bookings. It helped getting a clear overview of our perfomance as well a outlining key performance indicators.
