Very flexible to do what you want. Want to make a JRPG style game? Id Tech can do it. Want to create a platformer? Id Tech works. Want to create a typical first person shooter? Id Tech was built for it.

What do you dislike?

Id Tech tends to take up a ton of space and has high hardware requirements to run effectively.

It's very easy to import art into Id Tech. It also doesn't take nearly as long to compile scripts as it does in some engines.
