What do you like best?
Guardium is a solution that integrate several tools which work together to protect the sensitive data of your bussiness. It is very easy to install on the databases and it doesn't has a big impact on them, so enterprises could use it without big changes.
The different features of Guardium provides all that customers need to inspect SQL traffic and avoid data loss. Guardium can help both IT and compliance teams due to this SQL inspection features and the reporting tools.
Customers doesn't have to take care of all SQL traffic because Guardium also provides data classification, which can search on databases to find the data that customers wants to categorize as sensitive.
What do you dislike?
Guardium provides reporting tools but some customers needs are not satisfied. This reports could be exported in some formats or configured as Dashboards, but graphs have to be improve if Guardium wants to offer reporting as a main feature. The customization is poor and it is not easy to work with graphs in GUI.
Data classification is a very powerfull tool but it does not provides an incremental of the sensitive data found, so it can be heavy to process all information after classification process.
