What do you like best?

I like being able to track students who aren't even on my roster. I love the ease of rewarding students.

The app is handy for input from a cell phone.

What do you dislike?

I like that there's a place for photos, but the thumbnails are too small to see clearly, it's not helpful at all.

The app is not particularly handy for students to have on their own phones. It's slow when I need to quickly look someone up.

We have has ENORMOUS problems with the printers. They have proved to be a great expense which is usually not working.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I like this product. When we first began using Hero, teachers and admin were able to meet with company reps to make sure this product did what we needed it to do. I appreciated being listened to. There is a lot you can do with Hero, I highly recommend it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used it for a long time for lock-out during tardy periods. Students all know what it means to have a "hero pass."

It is useful then, to check up on students who are not in class to make sure they have gotten passes.

It has also been a quick way to reward students, even if they aren't on your roster. Anyone can see their reward points and work with that.

I like to also be able to find students quickly if they are in someone else's class.
