Intuitive and user-friendly board portal
What do you like best?
The platform streamlines many of my administrative functions involving communication with the board. I like the ability to import a previous agenda into a new meeting as a template and to import previous minutes into the agenda.
What do you dislike?
The word processor for creating Minutes leaves much to be desired. The document is pre-formatted and difficult to override the settings, and there is no way to view the coding to determine why formatting goes wonky. I often draft the minutes in a Word document then copy and paste the text back into the Minutes template, but the formatting is not retained.
Would like the ability to create a meeting amongst individuals without first having to create a group for that meeting. Would also like to be able to include attachements in emails sent via the portal. Would also like the ability to upload fillable PDF forms to the Documents folder. Currently, anything uploaded there becomes a non-editable PDF file, but would be great to be able to distribute forms via the platform. This may be solved with the soon-to-be-released survey feature.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
My board has 40 trustees residing in disparate geographic locations. Board Bookit has allowed me to reduce the number of steps it takes to complete routine tasks and communications with the board.
