GlobiFlow for Podio

What do you like best?

The scope of what is possible with Globiflow is vast.

It provides a good combination of intermediate and advanced functionality depending on the level of the user.

It is very quick to implement workflows.

What do you dislike?

The interface is dated.

The UX of the schema diagrams makes them difficult to read.

An easy-access cheat sheet for formulae would be helpful.

A manual refresh is required if fields have changed. It would be great if this could be done automatically on launch.

It would be great if it was easier to combine information from multiple apps fo reporting (although that is as much a Podio problem as it is a Globiflow problem)

There can sometimes be issues with timing when one flow needs to trigger another.

Tracking bugs to specific apps and items could be much easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Globiflow is a great way to take Podio to the next level. Rollout can be quick and efficient compared to similar platforms.

Knowledge of PHP is definitely useful.

Ensure users are very clear on what changes they can and cannot make in Podio to avoid Globiflows breaking!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have implemented solutions for clients in many different sectors with varied requirements.

- automatic task creation

- provide email functionality

- manage HR solutions such as time-tracking, recruitment, and vacation requests

- managing event RSVPs

- document management using RightSignature
