What do you like best?
The POS and Tee sheet are well integrated and very user friendly. Easy to learn and navigate as well as being able to customize and create efficiency within the tool.
What do you dislike?
Some of the reporting modules can be better and has gotten better over time. Also, their are a few inefficiencies that are created within the tee sheet, for example you have to click a pencil icon to enter a new user and their information into the customer module even though there are email/phone and additional fields within the tee sheet module itself. The fact that the system is fully on the cloud is both great, but a detriment at times, if our internet goes down or has issues, we are stuck without being able to ring people up who need to use a credit card. There are ways around it, but not easy if there is a less technically savvy person working in the shop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ForeUp is easy to learn and easy to use. The support teams are responsive and offer quick solutions. The development teams are constantly trying to improve the product and make changes consistently, particularly with the 12 days of Christmas updates which has happened every year since we have had ForeUp.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Having the system on the cloud allows me to see all transactions when I'm not at the course. Having the POS and Tee sheet integrated together allows for better reporting and a 1 stop shop for that. Just being able to report on rounds played is huge for us as it was all pen and paper before we took ownership and implemented ForeUp. Also, having a billing module has allowed us to keep everything consistent as far as member balances and bills. We've also been able to have all users clock in through ForeUp which makes payroll easier.
