What do you like best?
I like the flexibility to create rules on demand according to our and our client's business needs. Instead of hardcoding processes, we can route the user through a flexible flow based on the outcome of the business rules that our clients define.
What do you dislike?
The product has lots of tools and functionalities and, based on that, of course, a certain level of complexity.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our clients are healthcare providers in different countries, segments and sizes. They use our solution for scheduling appointments and optimizing the utilization of their internal resources. We have FlexRule fully embedded as our main rule engine. Using FlexRule, we easily manage use cases such as customer segmentation based on attributes like gender, age, insurance or any other patient characteristicas. The healthcare providers can offer personalized medical services to their individual patient groups, make sure that patients arrive well prepared and avoid human errors during the whole process. Additionally, we have advanced business rules for reserving appointments for patient groups with special needs or business rules that generate an optimized patient mix for the physicians.
