Simple, flexible PIM tool that isn't overkill but also streamlines data management
What do you like best?
We chose flexiPIM because of the simplicity of using the product, the cost, and the continuous improvement on the platform by their development team. They do a wonderful job of listening to their customers to help solve challenges in the product development and roadmap.
What do you dislike?
I have to remember where to look for documentation (It's not contextually available in the platform). We are relatively new to using PIM tools, so there may be some functional limitations, but as we've come across possible limitations, the they have helped us work through the best way to solve them.
I also wish there was an integration with a tool like Zapier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a deep dive in reviewing the product to compare with other PIM tools on the market. Also, ask about what is being done in the development roadmap because improvements are being made consistently.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have managed ecommerce product data through spreadsheets across multiple sites. Additionally, much of our data management was manual, which was time consuming.
We now have a much more robust and reliable tool for managing our data. Imports are easier. Adding product data is easier. We are able to spot exceptions in data quality with saved views and filters. We're using automation rules to minimize the amount of manual entry that has to be done which means consistency in our data and time saved. Overall, this has been a significant improvement for us.
