Advanced user of EzTixI was an EZTix partner for my food tours for nearly three years. The platform worked relatively well until the pandemic hit, at which point they began stealing funds from partners.
I was an EZTix partner for my food tours for nearly three years. When the pandemic hit, we refunded a large number of customers, as did most tour operators who were forced to shut down temporarily due to COVID. EZTix removed refunded funds from my account but failed to return them to my customers. Months later, when my customers were still understandably upset that they had not been refunded (despite those funds being taken out of my account by EZTix), I double refunded several guests. At that point I no longer felt comfortable using EZTix for ticketing and moved my business to a competitor, FareHarbor. EZTix then withheld my final sales payout (several thousand dollars). Per our contract, payouts should be received by partners within one week of sales statements. My statement was issued of 9/29/20 for sales revenue they collected from my customers, and as of this review (11/15/20) I still have not received my funds. I have e-mailed repeatedly, but EZTix has pulled all phone support and social media presence (likely because partners were so upset when their customer refunds were never returned to guests). Unfortunately, the volatility with which they manage finances puts partners (all small businesses) at risk.
Consider another reservation platform.
When functioning properly, EZTix should receive payments from event guests and issue payouts to partners minus their fees.
