What do you like best?

There are not a lot of programs available for career and technical education classes, that is why I am very excited that I have found this one. They offer a wide range of content provided to Schools at no cost to the teacher. The content ranges from business education to science and math and covers health related topics as well. It provides a lot of life skills that might not be covered in a regular classroom otherwise. They offer a wide range of content provided to Schools at no cost to the teacher. The content ranges from business education to science and math and covers health related topics as well. It provides a lot of life skills that might not be covered in a regular classroom otherwise. Aside from offering high-quality content for free, they also offer scholarship opportunities for students to complete the programs, and industry recognize certificates showing that a student has finished a particular program. Each program is interactive and pretty fun for the student. One thing that I found interesting was that last year they offered us the opportunity to have someone come to our classroom and talk about the program in person, so we did that and it was an amazing opportunity for our students to ask questions as well as learn more about the platform.

What do you dislike?

One thing that I would change is to make the programs easier to navigate. There are certain programs that make a student stay on a screen for a specific amount of time, and for some students who read fast or already know the content it can become boring for them to just sit and wait. Having the option to progress without enforced time limits would be very nice.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try EverFi with a small group of students first to learn how the platform works and then expand the use of it to your other classes.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use this in my classroom so that my students are able to earn industry recognize certificates showing that they are skilled in specific areas, as well as to teach my students topics that I would already be teaching but in a fun and interactive way.
