What do you like best?

Eureka is easy configurable and easy to use for any scale of applications. You can scale up-to any level using the service. Feature rich and mature solution and hence can be used in production without any second thought. It is very compatible with the most of the spring framework features or microservices features.

What do you dislike?

No as such, but we need this service always up and running. If this service is down then everything depends on this can collapse hence need to maintain few nodes for high availability.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go for it. Easy to use and configure. Reduces the on-boarding time significantly. It helps users to do very tedious background task on simple configurations like by setting property. Easy to use and if you use this with spring boot then you will be getting full experience of automated production ready environment.

As this service acts as a naming service all the problem inherited from the lack of naming services can be solved with this. We can easily use ribbon to load balance any number of instances of any number of services. Easy bundle to get ready for production in no time.
