Advanced user of Emburse Chrome River InvoiceWe were already using Chrome River for our expenses and reimbursements. So when the option to use Emburse cards was added, we knew we wanted to utilize that feature as well! We are using Emburse cards now to replace majority of our cash advances, with the ultimate goal of becoming a cashless campus. Almost everything can be completed virtually through desktop or mobile app options.
Implementation is taking longer than we hoped. The upside to that is how thorough the team is being with testing to prevent bigger issues after rollout.
It's a great program and very user friendly! It certainly increases visability and makes it easier to stay on top of employees who tend to put things off. Be ready for a lot of testing, it pays off.
Cash advances can be tricky. Getting the cash/check out on time, getting the expense reports turned in, collecting receipts, collecting unused funds etc. With the Emburse the entire process can be virtual, or close to (depending on if you choose to use a physical card or not). Now we don't need to wait to collect unused funds after an athletics trip. And thanks to the mobile app that Chrome River has, our users don't have to wait to build their expense report or turn in an invoice either.
