Editfile is a great option to edit files with Java format
What do you like best?
Editfile has extensive features to merge, split or merge files. I like that the plugins can be easily adapted. In addition, I also like that I can choose the programming language I will use and adapt the language to the editor. I also like its autosave function, which works even if the computer shuts down.
What do you dislike?
Syntax highlighting is not very good in this software, since it is only available for Java and TXT formats. In addition, when uploading files with a large number of lines of code, the program may slow down and close without notice.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This text editor is an advanced editing software, focused on Java. I recommend it for purposes of verifying errors in the lines of code and for editing small projects. In addition, it is useful for searching words.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In the organization where I work I use Editfile to verify fragments of Java and HTML code, in search of common errors that can give me problems when compiling. I have also benefited from its code search features.
