Advanced user of EaseUS Data RecoveryThe user interface is sleek. But what's the point if it's unable to recover files from an SSD?
EaseUS data recovery software does not work if your deleted files were on a SSD (Solid State Disk). Given that SSDs are common in laptops and desktops these days, it was a big disappointment to me and a waste of money that I wasn't able to recover any files, though I was able to see their filenames. As the company later clarified in an email: "In order to speed up SSD, TRIM would totally erase the file content after it was deleted and it is impossible to recover the lost file with any data recovery software or service."
Due to the this technical limitation that data on SSD can't be recovered, it is also disappointing that the company does not highlight upfront on its product page that it is incompatible with SSD drives.
I wanted to recover accidentally deleted files that were in my local hard drive (a solid state drive), but I later discovered to my disappointment that this product is incompatible with SSD drives.
