Salesforce ODBC driver review

What do you like best?

Once set up it acts just like a linked server within SQL Server. With this I am able to directly query Salesforce data just like I would any other linked server.

What do you dislike?

When I am forced to change my Salesforce password there are three places I have to make an update. I'm sure I can do more to stem this by changing my account parameters in Salesforce.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The product works quite well, and is reasonably priced. It has met both my needs, and expectations. It definitely helps to have an understanding of creating ODBC connections, and working with linked servers.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Enabling direct access to our Salesforce data from SQL Server for reporting, and data syncing. We are able to pass data between systems to ensure data integrity, completeness, and reporting to end users.
