Great way to prepare for nursing exams (NCLEX)
What do you like best?
It is very helpful due to the fact that after each test it tells you what the correct answer is while also explaining it very thoroughly. It teaches you how to remediate each question. It really instills it in your brain and does a very good job at preparing you for the NCLEX.
What do you dislike?
The remediation can be very daunting at times. I have had a Kaplan test that has taken me 6 hours to fully complete and remediate. But, I don't know if I would call it a “con”, just due to the fact that in the end, it really does help you relate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everybody learns Kaplan at their own pace, trust me! But the results will be worth all the hard work put in at the end. Wouldn't have an RN behind my name without Kaplan!!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The problems I've solved while taking Kaplan tests have really shaped HOW I test in general. I used it for 7 semesters (yes that's a long time haha) but the difference between first taking it and now is astounding. There is definitely a huge learning curve, but you learn the ways of Kaplan, and therefore learn the ways of the state boards, aka NCLEX! And that's the end goal.
