Great Software for Comm Protocols

What do you like best?

With Crimson, simple apps can be set up pretty quickly to configure communications protocols and define data tags for easy. Simple, built-in, point-and-click serial and Ethernet drivers map controller data to PLC registers really really easily. Additionally, built-in communications drivers know how to connect to PLCs, PCs or SCADA systems—and no code is required to establish communications between them.

What do you dislike?

Hidden settings can be confusing. Only a modest speed bump overall, though it's definitely there.
