What do you like best?

Despite Adobe's rise in the field of video production software, Compressor remains a solid tool for video encoding. It works in the background and it does the boring part while I do the creative stuff. It delivers high-quality encoding in a variety of formats, quite useful for the content producer who works with different clients, each one with their specific needs.

What do you dislike?

It's a bit hard to integrate Compressor with softwares not made by Apple - and it's a pity Apple gave up on investing in professional software for video production. That was the reason I started using Apple computers.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It still remains a solid tool for video encoding, especially for the everyday content creator that deals with many clients, each with their specific technical needs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Compressor is an intuitive and easy to use batch encoder - and still very professional - which enables me to encode numerous videos in many different formats all at once. It's a very useful tool since I produce loads of different content, for different clients, each of them with very different needs. It allows me to save my client's presets, so it makes it easy for the next jobs.
