Amazing free services. Attention to all the details.

What do you like best?

Cloudflare makes it easy to config the optimal DNS and CDN services without complicated server configuration. We also love that the base services are free. They always seem to do what's best for the consumer and the internet. Any time there is an issue they are transparent about what is going on and when it will be fixed.

What do you dislike?

Among the average consumer, it's still mostly unknown so it takes some explaining sometimes when we want to move a client's DNS onto Cloudflare. Also would love to be able to add users to our account for only single sites so that our clients can have access to their own DNS without having to create a bunch of Cloudflare accounts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just do it. Sign up. You'll be glad you did. Cloudflare makes it simple to manage DNS, CND, DDoS protection, performance all from one place in an interface that just works. After using Cloudflare I find that other providers that I have to use feel like a chore.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have hosting companies that only use CNAME's for configuring sites on their services. This is a problem when you want to have the root domain (non-subdomain) be the primary URL. There are very few services that can provide CNAME records on the root domain. On top of that, we get improved speeds (CDN), DDoS protection, and many other small tweaks that are a few clicks away without a complicated server setup.
