Advanced user of CloudBees CDIf you are looking for creating customize pipelines using Groovy language then you can go ahead with CloudBees CD at scale. It significantly reduces the application downtime and provides reporting, tracking and dashboard interface. It is considered as one of the highly secured platform which can be accessed by several team member securely. It has a very powerful and intuitive architecture for managing a complex project. It has multiple features which include Unified Object and Data Model. You can also use Elasticsearch API requests for metrics and logs.
It is intuitive and preferable for any complex architecture, but such features might not be required for a small project and hence i think License can be further simplified as per the project requirement. More simplified learning material should be created for the new ones. It has still some background processing issues, which can impact users operation.
We were looking for a standard and powerful automation orchestration tool to reduce manual Devops operation. Automatic rollback feature was one of the things we were looking for with reusable components to reduce efforts. Using CloudBees CD we were able to achieve automated pipelines, automated rollbacks and dashboard for all operations going on in the project for tracking purposes.
