What do you like best?

Tracking job history, tracking finances, reporting, scheduling, historical reference, database organization, time tracking, knowing that it probably has a feature for everything if I need it.

What do you dislike?

Not browser based, often needs to be hard-closed to allow mac shutdown, not very agile in updating the product, lack of communication to users, lack of promoting and educating on new features, lack of tool tips, it has a lot of more advanced features that are difficult to learn on own, takes some getting used to. One example of their lack of responsiveness has been its slowness to update to being compatible with the latest release of Mac OS (currently Catalina). Lastly, the interface is graphically dull and a little slow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think it is a really great software and has so many tried and true features for marketing agency project and financial tracking. If you are 100% in the cloud (this works by storing data and backups in the cloud I believe, but requires software locally installed on computer to work), looking for mobile or SaaS app bleeding edge, C&P is probably going to make you cringe a little. I would definitely see what's out there and has better mobile and browser-based access.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Knowing budgets in real time allows you to answer to the client when they have questions.

If a project needs to be audited for any reason, as long as everyone keeps everything up to date, it becomes an invaluable central repository for your job tracking. I've been able to go back in and notify clients of timelines they didn't recall.

We have the ability to have team meetings and display all of the different reports that pertain to an account executive. Likewise we have a snapshot of what's old, what the workload is, what's new, what's lingering, almost any way to slice and dice a workers time tracking.

Because it is a database, everything is consistent among clients or across the business however you want it to track client rates and billing.
