What do you like best?

I like the user interface and how it is pretty easy to use.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that there are a lot of delays when calculating the return.

Practice will help you familiarize yourself with all of the capabilities of the software. There are a lot of features and functions that CCH Prosystem fx has. If you get stuck on something, you can always contact customer service or use the reference button to see where the numbers are coming from. To clear e-file diagnostics, CCH Prosystem gives you in great detail on how to clear the diagnostics.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It allowed me to file returns seamlessly for current year as well as amended returns. It is pretty simple to use and the end result is pretty accurate.

One problem that I wished CCH Prosystem has a fix for is projections for the next year estimates. There is no functionality for that as of now and that is why our organization uses BNA Income Tax Planner to forecast next year's estimated taxes. There are also some features that I wish had a better tutorial for. For example for new tax laws that have been implemented in recent years such as Qualified Opportunity Zones, it would be great to have an example on how to fill out that specific form. It is only after playing around with the system that I was able to figure out where it would go on a tax return.
