I wish there were more audio editing features available, but overall, I am very happy with the software.
Camtasia offers a free trial, so you truly have nothing to lose. There is so much utility to the software. For anyone new to video editing, Camtasia offers step-by-step tututorials to help you achieve your desired results. Camtasia also makes it easy to experiment with different ideas because it is easy to revert back to your original video - if you make a mistake. The software offers numerous assets (like lower thirds, etc.) that you can customize and add to your projects. Your saved video files easily upload to a variety of platforms, making it easy to share your videos. Camtasia also offers online help and technical support if needed.
You can also upload and store your own assets (logos, graphics, pictures, original music, etc.) in Camtasia libraries so they are easily accessible when needed.
Prior to starting in my new position and using Camtasia software, I had never edited video before. On the first day of my new job, I downloaded the software, edited a video, and had it posted to YouTube without any issues. Camtasia made it just that easy!
