3D direct modelling may not be familiar to regular CAD program users, although it is incredibly intuitive and easy to learn in just 30 minutes! I prefer Shape over similar products, especially because the native .dwg format can be carried through to BricsCAD BIM, avoiding repeating the modelling process. 1 Workflow, 1 file format. It is easy to learn to use Shape in just 30 minutes! It is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, as well as easy to utilise from concept to BIM using BricsCAD BIM. No different file formats or remodeling required!
Instead of modeling a concept in 1 program, and remodeling it into a BIM program, Shape uses the industry standard .dwg format, whic can be directly used tp create a BIM without having to remodel it into another format, and then doing construction documentation in yet another format. A complete workflow in 1 format makes completing a project from concept to detailed construction documentation simple, using just 1 file format and no remodeling!
