PayLink has changed the game for us!
What do you like best?
Blackthorn Payments allows for Blackthorn Donation users as well as Blackthorn Events users to accept payments on these products. The best tool by FAR is the PayLink. This tool allows for us to send personalized and branded pages to our Corporate Partners so that they can pay us directly using a credit card. This information updates the Salesforce record immediately and connects directly with our Stripe account. More than this -- Blackthorn's customer success team are patient, caring, and amazing people who truly go above and beyond.
What do you dislike?
I truly havent found anything in Payments that I don't like. Seriously. Even our partners have complimented us on how easy the tool was to use for them to make their credit card payments (oh, and did I mention that it was branded for us?)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you like GREAT customer service, smart and capable technical staff, and a product that actually works and saves you time then definitely take Blackthorn Payments for a test drive. I can't say enough good things about the product or the company! Their team actually listens to you and to your use cases and does whatever they can to get you where you need to be. We thought we might have to pay eventually for additional customization, but their team helped us think through our use cases and came up with a solution that completely saves us that headache!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In the past when a partner wanted to make donation (from a company) our donation page would input their information as an individual. This tool allows for donations and fees to be paid direct with the appropriate account getting credit for the payment.
