What do you like best?

Very good at instantly identifying items that our gate sensors alarm. This eliminates the problem of finding unchecked-out items in a patron's stack of books.

What do you dislike?

Occasionally there are false alarms, and items do not show up on the screen. This does not happen often however. And we have never had unchecked-out RFID'd items NOT set off an alarm.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you use RFID tags on your items, this is a great product for instantly identifying those items when they set off gate alarms.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When alarms went off alerting us to unchecked-out items leaving the library (our gates detect RFIDs that have not been de-sensitized during checkout), we used to have no way to identify the item in question. We had to check each item a patron was leaving with. Bibliotheca pops up a box on our terminals that identifies the specific items. This saves a lot of time and aggravation at the circulation desk.
