It can be done on a VM Server or a stand-alone. both work great
Have the ability to store backups of different times on the Box itself and/or in the cloud is great.
The interface is a bit dated and it will take a few clicks to get to where you want to go if you haven't done it in awhile. Occasionally your Test Credentials do not always work even though they do when it comes time to the actual backup.
Support has become a lit bit of a chore to get to. it was easier before. now, you have to hunt for it.
whether you are a small business with only a hand few of servers or a larger enterprise the Backup Appliance will work for you
