Azore is a cutting edge CFD software tool for flow, heat transfer, and species mixing applications. It is a control volume solver that can use polyhedral, hex, or tetrahedral mesh topologies. Azore includes a pre/post processing GUI for model set up and results analysis.

Advanced user of Azore CFDAzore CFD was built with the intention that the user could customize their experience. From expediting the plotting tool through JavaScript to modifying boundary conditions without having to open the model, this program makes for accurate and efficient modelling. I have enjoyed learning all the ins-and-outs of this tool and would recommend it to engineers and scientists looking to solve their own fluid problems.
As with any tool, the user needs to take time to learn the commands. There are lots of resources online, and I am looking forward to seeing more posted to make it easier to learn the lesser-known features.
Azore has helped solve problems related to flow profiles and uniformity, temperature/gas mixing, and particle injection. While these are the models I am familiar with, there are many other ways to integrate Azore into a project.
