Advanced user of Autodesk DWG TrueViewThe thing that I like best about TrueView is that it gives options to those that need to review drawings but nothing else. Sometimes there is a need to see the drawings but there is no need to have a full version of AutoCAD. There is also a big need to convert DWG file types from one to another in order to expand your network that you do business with. If you do not have to worry about the specific file type that you are using it makes it much easier.
I think that one of the things that could be better is instead of having all 3 flavours of reviewing software, I think it could be merged into 1 package. I am not sure that there is a need to have Autodesk Viewer, DWG TrueView and Design Review. There are only slight differences between the three and to me, they could be all merged together.
There is not much that I could say for recommendations. The only thing I would suggest is right from the onset, especially because it is free, give all staff access right away because you never know when they would require it.
The biggest problem that we are solving is the interoperability between the different DWG formats. There are difference use cases for all the DWG formats and then there is a need to coordinate them together in the end and this is the tool that easily allows us to do this. This is a very easy tool to use for those that are not proficient and those that do not need to be proficient with AutoCAD.
