Appium

What do you like best?

Appium is great for IOS and Android, supports Selenium webdriver and is open source, and the possibility to use it with multiple languages is great (Java, C#, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python....) supports hybrid app as well as native and web apps

What do you dislike?

Appium configuration can be a bit complex usually you will need to have someone that will help and guide you through the process. Simplifying the initial process will be a big bonus

Documentation can be confusing and not very helpful

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest challenge is cross platform testing so instead of searching for different tools you can go with Appium as the best way to test on both IOS and android. With Appium you can use the language that you're comfortable with (Java, C#, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python....).

With time you will have reusable and maintainable script that will save time on the long run
