What do you like best?
Ability to generate load tests across regions. This makes it easy to simulate "real" traffic against an application. It also is easy to get up and running with quickly. You can add load tests for your applications in a matter of minutes. It has many advanced features of course which you can spend more time on, but ability to get up and running quickly is nice.
What do you dislike?
UI interface/design is not very intuitive. Can be difficult to navigate throughout the various screens.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall great product, I would recommend for various use cases related to load and performance testing.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Before using Apica, we had no good way to simulate real user load against an application. Applications would go live without any real load testing against them. This would result in the situation where the end users would be the ones telling us the application was not responding, was responding slowly, etc. Of course we would rather find this out before the application goes live and starts being used by end users. So Apica allows us to do this with a great set of load testing options, which we run the application through before it goes live. The benefits this usually results in is increased stability and resiliency across our portfolio of apps, and ultimately better customer satisfaction when applications are working as expected.
