In Java you can include it like a maven dependency. It's a good solution for distributed systems. You can test it in your system without cost.

What do you dislike?

The proyect is discontinued since 2016, if you use it you should know it.

It's free and it's perfectly valid solution for get unify all your logs from distribuited applications. You can combine this with other solutions like Kibana for get the inforamtion most accesible and easy to see.

It's a ligthweigth application that don't impact in the performance of the main application.

It's a solution for get traces in distribuited systems. It isn't the best application but is free.
