Advanced user of AMESim1) Ease of operation and effective pictorial representation of components. The simulation process is very well defined .
2) Here an added advantage is that we can combine components from different domain and sub-domain of engineering field like mechanical, electrical etc.
3) The ability of software to interlink to other engineering software like MATLAB, PYTHON, 3D modelling software makes AMESim very strong software.
4) Creating animation of the process.
5) Data can be easily exported to EXCEL.
6) The feature of batch operation is very useful to analyze the effect of equipment parameters.
7) The ease of changing or defining the input parameter of any component.
8) Provision to make the simulation graphs generated more informative and visually attractive is good.
9) The idea to present the component from different domain with different color is very effective. It helps the user to understand the nature of system or configuration modelled. Such that proper and efficient analysis can be implemented to realize the output of system.

1) Even though the software have evolved and upgraded to a huge extent, the available student
version is very very old. So, user are unable to realize the original potential of AMESim.
2) Lack of simple tutorial that cover the basics.
I will highly recommend others to use AMESim. But I will also request the provider of AMESim to update the student version available. Proper branding and marketing is required to bring AMESim among people. Until common people uses the software and realize its potential it is difficult to increase its demand. Its limited use by high end users will not give that acceptance as it should have gained by now in India.
