Altaro Office 365 Backup for MSPs is a monthly subscription program enabling Managed Service Providers, IT resellers and IT consultants to provide backup and recovery services for Office 365 mailboxes and files stored within OneDrive and SharePoint. MSPs can take backups and manage and monitor them through Altaro’s multi-tenant, cloud-based console. Backups are automatically saved to Altaro’s Azure infrastructure. There are no contracts or upfront costs: MSPs pay per user, per month. One monthly fee includes backup, unlimited storage, management console access and 24/7 support (call response: <30 seconds). MSPs can set their own price and earn recurring monthly revenue.

Excellent , Easy to use Product

What do you like best?

Altaro's Simple and easy to navigate GUI really speeds up the process of checking for errors (if any.) Additionally, each section of the GUI is responsive. Hover over or Click a piece of data and you can find more information on it. If, you're still unsure about something on the system its super easy to contact support as the team are only one click away.

What do you dislike?

It is a shame that we are unable to specify when we would like Office 365 back-ups to take place. I have noticed on occasions some back-up had been taken at 0100hrs when no changes had occurred to the inbox/data.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're looking at Altaro as a solution, I can say with confidence that if you don't choose it then you are making a grave mistake. The platform is very reliable and the anywhere access GUI makes restoring and producing reports very easy.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Having recently changed providers from Datto, I have noticed a huge decrease in management time. Adding new customers and mailboxes can be achieved very quickly and the system is very reliable.
