ActBlue

What do you like best?

I love that I can use the platform to easily give small-dollar donations to any progressive politician or organization out there, and it feels really great doing so to help. I actually feel like that I am making a difference in my day-to-day, whether that entails my contributing one-time or on a monthly basis.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that other companies can get a hold of my information once I donate to their cause or candidate. It's a little bit annoying and unexpected at first, but you either get used to it or can just unsubscribe from their list. I also wish we could merge multiple accounts without having to first create a customer support ticket. It is my hope to see that ActBlue creates a user-friendly and mobile application for their donors and clients to use one day (without hassle).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There should be an ActBlue app available on mobile devices in order for people to give on the go.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ActBlue makes it a simpler, streamlined process to donate and fundraise for political action committees, grassroots campaigns, other advocacy related nonprofits, and social justice organizations. Rather than writing a check or donating via website, I can do all that and more through this amazing little, cute platform.
