Advanced user of Ansys CFXThe interface of Ansys CFX is much neater than Ansys Fluent. I found it much easier to define materials and boundaries in CFX. Also, this will allow me to get much more accurate results compared to a simples Thermal transient analysis
The main issue, in my opinion, is the lack of deep information readily available for every user. Sometimes you need to email them and this will take time to solve the issues.
Study before implementing. Boundary conditions, topology share, and other things are not always straight forward.
I am developing a cooling system for a mechanical gripper. CFX has been helpful to confirm and improve the accuracy of my initial estimations made with Thermal Transient analysis. The flow simulation is much more accurate than the film coefficient boundary condition in thermal transient.
