The tool is so thorough, it can make the results a bit daunting to sift through. Additionally, given that Penguin now renders toxic links null and void, the Detox tool may be completely unnecessary. While it's still a good idea to submit a DTOX and can probably still help you recover from penalties, this tool may not even be needed by your company in 2 years.
Only invest if you're serious about SEO. Content-based campaigns along with natural link-building and PPC can be just as effective as investing in this tool. But, if you're looking to take a comprehensive approach with your clients' SEO, get this tool.
