Advanced user of IT-ConductorIT-Conductor was agentless, so we didn't have to install an agent on each server which most of the alternative solutions required. We needed to monitor over 200 systems quickly and did not want to spend weeks to get up and running. In this platform, we relied on built in features for system discovery, health checks, alerting, and recovery and just needed to spend time on configuration.
This is a cakewalk compared to SAP's Solution Manager.
Nothing, this greatly helped us cut down on time.
We are migrating systems and needed to monitor performance of the source and target system. Because there was so many systems we did not want to install an agent on each machine and did not find many tools that could do it. When you have to go through so many SIDs, install, and configure each agent it takes awhile and you need a dedicated team to manage it. I think most teams are turning to automation these days to be efficient with resources.
