Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

What do you like best?

Where do I even begin, it is the most accessible platform Adobe has to batch edit your photos. You can easily organize and categorize your recent uploads and sync some similar settings to have a cohesive look on all your photos. There are many features that photoshop has as well, like spot healing and cloning areas to fix your photos quickly.

What do you dislike?

So there are two versions of Lightroom available, Adobe Lightroom Classic and the newer Adobe Lightroom. I believe both are very powerful platforms for getting your work done efficiently and in a timely manner. "Classic" has the original layout from the previous versions of this program and keyboard shortcuts you are familiar with, while the newer version has a completely different layout to have a similar look to photoshop and different keyboard shortcuts. I find that the Classic version is much easier and user-friendly.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are a photographer of any skill set and need an application to organize and categorize all your assets into a library where nothing will get lost, then this is the easiest program for you to use. Perfect for quick or extensize batch editing and exporting. All types of adjustments and presets to play around with to get any look you seek for your media. Possibilities are endless!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

While using Lightroom, you can save a ton of time by editing groups of photos in 1/3 of the time. Rather than having to go into each individual photo and adjusting all the settings to your liking in Photoshop or another program, you can sync all the similar settings so that your recent collection of images all have the same look. Lightroom makes it really easy to stay organized and export your assets to any file size you prefer. And if a photo edit is too tricky, you can push it to Photoshop and complete it there, and once you're done you can bring it back into your Lightroom Library and continue your editing.
