What do you like best?

I love that there isn't only a bunch of words just jumbled on the site. It's very clean and user-friendly. The filter buttons are helpful and descriptive, as well as the job descriptions itself. Each description displays the position, price, fellow applicants and skill level, which cuts down time on the job search.

I also like how Remote.com doesn't push the upgraded "Pro" service in my face at every mouse click; rather it's there if I would like to try it out in the future.

What do you dislike?

I wish it had a bit more color on the site, but I see they are going for the minimalist look. Also, more jobs listed more often would be great.

These are a few things which can go for any freelance site, but in particular Remote.com:

* Know what you want and search for exact terms.

* Use the filter system, it's great.

* Complete your profile as much as possible for leads.

* Use the "heart" symbols to add jobs to your favorites for applying later.

* If you add your LinkedIn account, you can connect to others in your industry on the "Connect" page.
